Bill Atwood, CEA Associate
Bill Atwood is a Collins Education Associate. He is a master teacher and is appreciated by his clients for his expertise, sense of humor, enthusiasm, and ability to focus on practical ideas to improve student performance.
Bill has over 20 years of experience in public and private schools at grades K-12 and is the recipient of a Presidential Award for Excellence in Math and Science Teaching. He has designed and conducted hundreds of workshops for teachers, parents, and administrators in writing across the curriculum, math, science, and technology. He is part of the graduate faculty at Salem State College, Endicott College, and Worcester State College in Massachusetts. He is also the author of the groundbreaking book for mathematics teachers How Did You Get That? Seven Strategies for Improving Written Responses in Math and the innovative DVD Math Words in Motion that teaches students math vocabulary.
